Design In The
Margins Of Culture

Design, for me, starts with a question about content. The form follows from taking that question seriously — which typeface is doing what, which image is earning its place, what the grid is asking the reader to do. Visual decisions aren't decorative. They are part of the argument.

My work spans editorial, identity, and digital experience, but the thread running through it is an interest in how culture moves — how aesthetics, platforms, and images shape the way we see ourselves and each other. CULTŪRA, the magazine I conceived, wrote, and made in full, grew from four original interviews about exactly that: the sociology of self-presentation online, BookTok as literary gatekeeper, nostalgia on screen, and what expressive heritage branding says about identity.
